The protection of your privacy is very important for Mustang Sound GmbH when processing your data. The data collected is processed according to the provisions of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG, Federal Data Protection Act) and other legal regulations as they apply to electronic business transactions in Germany. Therefore, Mustang Sound GmbH asks you to acknowledge the following declarations and print them out or save them, as you see fit.

3. Automatically Recorded Non-Personal Data

Mustang Sound GmbH uses this information to determine and improve the attractiveness, performance and content of the website.
No personal data will be collected by Mustang Sound GmbH. You can find further information on the cookies used by us in Sect. 4 below.

4. Collection, Processing, Use and Forwarding of Personal Data

4.1 Personal data is only collected by Mustang Sound GmbH if you actively communicate it to us, e.g. by creating a customer account, by ordering our newsletter or via our contact form. You have the right to object at any time to the use of this data for the respective purpose for the future. See also paragraph 8.

4.2 The personal data collected from you will only be used for the purpose for which you gave it to us or for the use and forwarding of which you gave us your consent. After completion of the contractual relationship the user data shall only be stored as long as is required on the basis of fiscal and commercial law retention periods. On expiry of these periods the data will, however, be deleted, unless you gave your express consent to its further or different use.

4.3 Personal data shall only be collected or transmitted to government institutions and authorities, where this is required by compulsory national legal regulations.

5. Matomo (formerly called Piwik)

  This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. Matomo uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to analyse your use of this website. In conjunction with this, the information about the use of this website generated by the cookie will be archived on our server. Prior to archiving, the IP address will first be anonymized. Matomo cookies will remain on your device until you delete them. The storage of Matomo cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns, in order to optimize the operator’s web offerings and advertising. Mustang Sound GmbH would like to inform you about its product range and innovations regularly via a newsletter. To do this, Mustang Sound GmbH requires your e-mail address and your name.
You can subscribe to the newsletter by using the corresponding function or during the registration process by ticking the box (so-called opt-in). For verification purposes, your e-mail address, your name, the IP address and the registration date are stored in addition to the newsletter dispatch.
Furthermore, we will send you an e-mail asking you to confirm your newsletter order again. By activating the hyperlink sent in the e-mail, your e-mail address will be activated for receiving the newsletter.

8. Information on User Rights

Upon request, Mustang Sound GmbH will inform you in writing as soon as possible whether and which of your personal data is stored by us.
